About Us


Air-Filtration Systems (AFS) was founded in 1989 by Fred Gabriel to assist customers in New England with their air filtration problems. Fred’s air filtration experience dates back to 1972 when he started with Honeywell Corporation in Syracuse, New York.. After selling and servicing Honeywell’s customers in the field, Fred went to Minneapolis to oversee the Companies residential air filtration product offerings. During his tenure in this position he expanded Honeywell’s presence in the industry to include the commercial and industrial markets.

In 1989, Air-Filtration Systems was founded in Massachusetts to serve the Industrial and Commercial markets. During this time, Air-Filtration Systems has worked closely with hundreds of New England firms of all sizes including; Reebok Corporation, General Electric Company, Shriners Hospital, Omni Services Inc., Boston Centerless Corp., O-D Tool and Cutter, Minute Maid Corporation, Smith and Nephew, Johnson and Johnson, Stanadyne Corporation, and many others. Our long list of satisfied customers often attest to Air-Filtration’s expertise in designing solutions for their most difficult applications and following up with excellent support and service. From equipment selection and sales to complete turnkey solutions, Air-Filtration Systems has been meeting customer’s needs throughout New England.

Air-Filtration Systems goes national! With the advent of the internet, Air-Filtration Systems is now able to provide this same service and support to Customers throughout the North America. Additionally, to best meet our customers needs, Air-Filtration Systems has expanded its product offerings to fill in with products and technologies that compliment our existing areas of expertise. Some of these lines include, Wet Scrubber technology products and Parts Washers of all types.
