product offering…the Barnes RDU Universal
FILCON Filter! Proven Japanese chip filter
technology and Barnes’ know-how has produced
one of the most versatile and reliable machine tool
filters in the industry. Barnes RDU Universal
FILCON can handle any application, any metallic
material, any capacity filtration. The combination
rotary drum/hinged belt conveyor is perfect for use
in machining/turning operations where long, stringy,
sharp chips or “bird’s nests” are generated. The
hinged belt conveyor removes and discharges the
large chips. A second lower drag-out conveyor
eliminates sludge and shall chip buildup. A
permanent media rotary drum filters the coolant to
30 micron.
